A DAY IN BARCELONA

One hour by car from Girona, we can enjoy one of the most touristic and cultural city, Barcelona of course.

At 10 o'clock on Saturday morning we started the day visiting the Gothic quarter, where you can find the Santa Maria del Mar Cathedral. Walking around there's the Generalitat Palace and lovely streets with wonderful shops.

As every time I go to Barcelona I have to take a coffe in Starbucks.

Then we decided to follow with the Gaudi's architecture, visiting the Pedrera in Passeig de Gràcia street and Park Güell on the top of Barcelona.

Kilorestaurante , situates in Balmes street, was the best place that we could go to have lunch! The dishes were delicious and the people so kind. we will come back!

This is a day in Barcelona ! Enjoy and have a nice sunday!

Mas del Silenci

Good morning !

Today starts a really short week after easter holidays .
How you spend your holidays ? Did you enjoy it ?! Which place you visited ?

We pend all time visiting beautiful villages, like Cadaqués, Sant Antoni de Calonge and Sant Feliu de Guíxols that I 'll explain in other futur post!

First holiday weekend we enjoyed an amazing time in a beautiful country house in the middle of the forest .
Calm place where the only thing you could listen was the different kind of birds and other little animals.

It was so curious because our room was where the pigeons slept in the past.
There were the big stones on the wall.

The room was charm whit a withe fort up of the bed. We slept like a queen & king . So romantic place.
In each bedside we found a little wooden pigeons and the old closet had a little courtain .

The views from the room was amazing, trees , trees and more trees.

Being in the middle of the mountain we decided not leave from the house and had dinner there and taste their wonderful gastronomy .

We ate crunchy vegetabled , fish with little clams and for dessert an amazing chocolate coulant ! So so delicious!

Next day, breakfast was delicious to, eating bread with jam, orange juice and big muffins.

All deco is like vintage with some relics of the past .
They accept little dogs!
If you travel to spain or you only find a relax weekend here is the better place!

Good morning in the morning !

Well, as I told in the las post "instagram your city" I won a dinner in a really good restaurant in Girona calles Bubbles and one night in a 4 **** Hotel Melià Girona! I not usually have much luck in the contests and win this fact made us very excited. Simply because it was our city, Girona.

Last weekend we became tourist of Girona, so we decided to walk along the main streets and visit typical place of the old quarter & jewish quarter.

After that we went to the hotel, we were nervous about seeing the room and if we like and yes, we loved so much!!

During the dinner we ate all little delicious things like mini burguer or a mushroom soap in a test tub, so original to serve.

Then the star dish was a foam chick live, eggs and thyme bread! Amazing and do delicious. I have to say that they won a contest with this dish. It was a pleasure for our palate.

All weekend was completely a date, a sweet day with the three of us, biky too.

When David and I entered in the room, had a surprise! A bottle of cava, cokkies and fruits was attending us! Aw it was so romantic!

On sunday morning we enjoyed the biggest and varied breakfast that I have ever seen before!

All this free and the best quality!

I only want to say thank you so much to the Melià Hotel to attend us so well, and Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Pirineu to give is the award and can enjoy our city in a different way as every day.

Tregurà

Two weeks ago we enjoyed together the most relax weekend of this year.
Walking up of the mountain, eating the typical dishes of our Pirineu & discovering new places, like Camprodon and Set Cases, two of the most wonderful mountain village.

Why here?

Well it was a christmas present of my sweety boy so we planned how to do and when. We decided this week because planned it snowed a lot, we love to feel the cold and the little white balls when they fall on the top of our heads.

Fonda Rigà was the place where we slept, a really charm and wonderful place. The room had amazing views of the mountains and we felt like at home.

We have to say that it's not so expensive. , so if you want to enjoy a weekend with your love, family or friends it's the perfect place to go. It's possible to slept in their apartments too, paying less.

On the other hand , it's not necessary to go to sleep, you can enjoy their delicious dishes and views in the restaurant .
We ate a lot, soup, different types of cheese, meat, fish, salade and incredible desserts!

Saturday morning we enjoyed with typical products of the area during brakfast.
We were so good and we liked the place so much, we did not want to leave!!!!!

Today is the day, the sweetest day of the year, so we celebrate eating delicious pancakes from l'exquisit in Girona.
